I Wish Some Parts Were Missing
This collection of heartfelt, free-verse poetry was written at a time in my life when I defined myself by people. What started as a Tumblr pact between a group of friends at Lee University to write a poem a day for 90 days turned into a project that followed me through a downward spiral that felt like the end of the world at the time. Now, I hardly remember them. This collection of poetry hopes to capture the essence of youthful introspection, the highs and lows of faith, and the vulnerability of doing it all for the first time.
